When inclement weather impacts your attendance at Sunday Mass, we like to provide some protocols that may be helpful to our parishioners.
During inclement weather, understandably, there is no obligation to attend Mass due to the dangerous conditions that may be caused by the weather. It is likely best for everyone to make prudent decisions as to whether it is safe to travel to church (especially if you are elderly; have to drive or live a distance).
Please know that our parish clergy will celebrate the scheduled Masses for that day and the doors of the church will be open.
If you find you are unable to attend, please try and watch Mass on the internet or local cable station. Or, if you live closer to another parish, maybe you and your family can attend their scheduled Mass.
NOTE: During inclement weather (especially snow and ice), we cannot guarantee that the church sidewalks and entrances will be completely shoveled and ice-free but we will try to make it as safe as possible in a timely manner. Parking on the streets in the neighborhood can be extremely limited or nonexistent during snow and ice events, so please consider this factor when making a decision.
