RELIGIOUS EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN
Pre-Kindergarten through High School

Sunday_SchoolRCIC

(We highly encourage all children in the parish who are not in
Catholic School to enroll in Sunday school classes)

Sept. 2020

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Thank you for your interest in educating your child(ren) in the faith. We are happy to inform you that our parish is able to offer catechism classes this year for youth in grades Pre-K to 12. However, since we remain under COVID-19 restrictions and want to keep our families safe, we will host Sunday school classes online via Zoom. We want to ensure that our youth are able to continue their Catholic religious education during this pandemic.

In our religious education classes, your child will continue to learn about being a child of God, Christian discipleship, doctrine, and how to recognize God’s voice among the many voices in today’s world. We especially welcome those families who child(ren) need to receive the sacraments (First Communion, Penance and Confirmation) this year. These children need to be enrolled since this is where they will receive catechesis (teachings) on the sacraments.

Please click on the link below for the registration form for your child(ren) and return to Mrs. Shirley Austin at mre@hcscchurch.org or mail to the church (ATTN: Shirley Austin).  Please know that we do not charge any registration fees.

If you would like more information on our Sunday School program, please contact Shirley Austin at 202-546-1885 ext. 26 or mre@hcscchurch.org.

Thank you again for your interest in providing Catholic religious education for your child(ren) and we hope to serve you and your family this year.

Shirley Austin
