Murals on the Walls of Our Parish

A Great Cloud Of Witnesses

Peter 1_edited

A Historical Series on the Murals on the Walls of Holy Comforter-Saint Cyprian Roman Catholic Church

Holy Comforter is the title of the Holy Spirit and this church was built to honor the Holy Spirit. At the center of the church over the altar is a tongue of fire and the words “The Spirit of the Lord fills the Whole Earth” (translated from the Latin text). But how will God accomplish this? One way that God will accomplish this is through the lives of Holy men and women such as the Saints depicted on the walls of this beautiful temple. This series highlights the Saints that are painted on our church walls along with historical commentary researched and written by Rev. Anthony Lickteig.
