The HCSC Altar Guild is devoted to the upkeep of the church and the sanctuary. In particular, the care of the sacred vessels use during the celebration of Mass and other public celebrations, as well as the brass work (candlesticks) and altars. Members of the Guild dust and clean church furnishings, launder and press altar cloths, purificators and corporals. These important maintenance duties are preformed every Saturday morning for approximately 1 – 2 hours. The Altar Guild members work in teams so that each team is scheduled for only one Saturday out of the month. It’s a worthwhile and meaningful fellowship in the service of Our Lord.
